Green Computing or Green IT basically is a term that describes the planning, implementation and management of IT processes in ways that minimize their harmful impact on the environment. Therefore, we call these activities sustainable IT.
What we do
In masterplan we provide practical solutions to corporate clients on how to optimize their IT systems so as to bring financial benefits while protecting the environment.
To Whom We Are at Service
Our task is to support the efforts of our clients who wish to implement sustainable practices in their business and they know that their IT system occupies a key role to achieve their green goals.
However, with genuine enthusiasm and commitment we also approach clients who were not acquainted with the possibilities of sustainable practices and the benefits they can bring to both their business and the environment.
Financial benefit
Sustainable IT bear direct and indirect economic benefits for businesses, no matter how broad is their activity. This is mainly due to the fact that they significantly increase the energy efficiency of their networks, optimize the processes, functionality and duration of use of resources. These steps consequently reflects positively on the environment in the form of less air emissions and less use of natural resources.
Steps
1. Analysis of existing systems
in cooperation with
d e n k s t a t t Bulgaria
- Consumption of energy resources for maintenance and other supplies
- Practices for decommissioning and scrapping
- Analysis of the life cycle of hardware
- Effectiveness of the elements
- Assessment of financial aspects
2.Formulation of goals and objectives
Objectives to create a "green" IT system can be different and stand behind them to various reasons. In order to take the correct path to achieving them, it is important to know what specifically to strive - to reduce costs, optimize performance, meet social commitments or otherwise.
3. Planning and design
Our task at this stage is to set the steps to financial performance / profit by reducing energy consumption, reducing pollution technologes and practices, and improving the overall work environment for employees. Effective planning includes the following aspects:
- Planning the energy efficiency of the system through the use of best design practices, high performance and flexible infrastructure
- Develop programs for optimization of energy consumption, minimize waste generated and reducing consumption of non-renewable resources
- Foresee the possibility of support through upgrade of infrastructure elements without using significant additional resources, but at the same time considering the potential to meet new functional needs in the future.
4. Realization
Auditing guidelines and elements of the project.
5.Maintenance and Optimization
- Optimize the functionality
- Implementation of new technical solutions
- Monitoring of performance statistics
- Record keeping and periodic assessment of the saved resources - financial and ecological
